This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the iOS app "Tsumori" (the "App"). The App is provided by Koki Tanisaka, an independent developer.
The App is free to use, funded by ads shown inside the App. If you make the one-time in-app purchase, ads are no longer shown.
The App requires no account. We do not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth. We do not operate any servers, and your records are never sent to us.
The following data is stored only on your device and in your own iCloud (in a container dedicated to this App):
Backups of your records are saved automatically through Apple's iCloud, in storage tied to your own Apple Account. We cannot access this storage. Data in iCloud is handled according to Apple's privacy policy.
Export files are created only when you choose to export from the settings screen, and you decide where they are saved or shared.
The App's lock feature uses iOS's built-in mechanisms (Face ID / Touch ID / passcode). Your face and fingerprint data are matched on the device by the operating system; the App never touches this data, and it is never transmitted anywhere.
Reminders are local notifications that live entirely on your device. No information is sent anywhere to deliver them. Notifications are used only if you turn them on in settings.
The App uses Unity Ads, provided by Unity Technologies, to serve ads.
The App does not show iOS's App Tracking Transparency dialog and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). It does not show personalized ads based on your interests. We explicitly instruct the ad provider to treat you as having declined consent in every jurisdiction.
Even so, to serve ads, measure their performance, and prevent fraud, the ad provider may collect information such as:

Once ads are removed by the in-app purchase, the advertising SDK is not started at all, and none of the information above is sent to the ad provider.
The one-time purchase (ad removal plus the stationery set) is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. Payment details such as your card number never reach us. The App only receives whether the purchase has been made. You can restore the purchase anytime via "Restore purchase" inside the App.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Because the App does not show personalized ads, we also do not share information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
In case the limited device information sent to the ad provider for ad delivery and fraud prevention is interpreted as "sharing" under your state's law: depending on your state, you may have the right to know, delete, or correct personal information collected about you, and the right not to be treated unfavorably for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at the address at the bottom of this page; we will respond within the period required by applicable law. We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not process personal information of anyone known to be under 16 for targeted advertising.
The App is currently not distributed in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or mainland China. For this reason, this policy does not describe rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR.
Records stored on your device are deleted when you delete the App. Backups stored in iCloud can be deleted from the iOS Settings app → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage, by selecting this App's data.

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Ad delivery is not configured as a child-directed service.
This policy may be updated as features are added or laws change. Any changes will be reflected on this page along with the date of the last update.
